For a very special, innovative food and wine experience, try bin6south. We had a wonderful lunch, starting with the Lump Crab and Watermelon. This was served with aqua fresca, fermented watermelon rind, pearl onion, jalepeno, and radish. The cold dish was full of flavor and refreshing.
The lunch entree was the fabulous Bin Board. This included pork rillet, ricotta with Thai basil oil, pickled red bell pepper, pimento cheese with charred leek ash, chicken liver mousse, tomato jam, and house made crostini. A superb contrast of colors, textures, and flavors.
Dessert was the delicious Carrot Souffle.

Special thanks to Ferrin and Benny. They both were very accommodating and each had a deep knowledge of wines and food.
The owners Donna and Bren renovated the 1920s house into a restaurant and wine cellar. They had the idea to combine the Napa/Sonoma small wine tasting room expeience with restaurants in Tuscany that feature wines and a small menu. The menu changes often and the chefs use what’s available in the garden. Lunch is more casual than dinner. Both lunch and dinner are very special, and the presentation is exquisite. A must try.
