Cybel Restaurant. A few days ago, we went out with friends to try this new French Moroccan fusion restaurant. Moroccan-born Executive Chef Touf and his family opened this space after a successful run as a ghost kitchen at Foodie Labs. 🇫🇷🇲🇦
Here’s what we had:
Un Peu de Tout. This vegetarian board is full of flavorful falafel, labneh, hummus, Moroccan ratatouille (roasted eggplant and tomato), and tabbouleh served with pieces of soft zaatar pita bread. The lively spices and flavors of Morocco pulled this assortment together.
Lemon Chicken Tagine. This is served table side with the traditional terra cotta cone lid, which is removed by the waitress. The juicy chicken is slow cooked, and served with onions, Moroccan spices, olives, preserved lemon, and gourmet fries.
Lamb Chops. The tender marinated grilled French lamb chops were served with garlic pomegranate sauce. The accompanying smashed potatoes were crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle.
Next time, we want to try the French Tacos, which are build your own. We also want to try the Chicken Shawarma, which was highly recommended to us.
Cybel Restaurant offers starters, salads, main dishes, sides, proteins on pita bread, and desserts. It’s open for lunch, dinner, and late night every day except Sunday. BYOB for now. Indoor and outdoor patio dining.
Because it’s very popular, you should make a reservation. They are on Instagram @cybelrestaurant and their website is http://www.cybelfusion.com 🇫🇷 🇲🇦
