Slim Charmer

Slim Charmer is a must try! If you can get in. Right now, it’s walk up only starting at 5:00. 🍸

The restaurant is next door to Wild Child, in a historic building to the left. It’s beautifully decorated with a dark and moody vibe.

Pictured is the French 75 with gin,  blackberry, tarragon, lemon and champagne. Also pictured is the Freezer Door Martini with gin, vermouth, and olives. They offer martinis, cocktails, low alcohol cocktails, wine, beer, and house shot.

We started with the Hamachi with the unique strawberry-rhubarb verjus, pink peppercorns, espelette, and basil. This was a beautiful and refreshing spring dish.

Next was the savory Maple Brook Mushrooms Toast, with smoked oyster mushroom cream, cambozola, vin cotto, on crunchy toasted sourdough.

The ‘Nduja Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Dates in a Salsa Rossa were so flavorful, a little spicy, and contrasted well with the soft sweet dates. A good choice for a savory finale.

The Salted Caramel and Milk Chocolate Tart was spectacular. There was a dense layer of chocolate fudge, another layer of salted caramel, and a soft chocolate crust. It comes with whipped crème fraiche.

We’ll be back! We want to try the 16 ounce dry aged NY Strip steak.

📍 2706 Central Ave.
